David Wright could hit second in the Mets' batting order

by Reggie Beltran | Mon, Feb 22nd 8:03am EST

According to coach Collins, last year the Mets "started out the year with David hitting second. As you saw throughout baseball, the No. 2 hitter became a big hitter in a lot of lineups." He referenced Josh Donaldson (last year's AL MVP), as a perfect example. (ESPN)

Fantasy Impact:

If David Wright slots into the second order, the lineup could be Granderson, Wright, Cespedes, Duda, Neil Walker, Michael Conforto, d'Arnaud and Cabrera. Wright would lose some RBI opportunities, but could pick up a few more runs with the big bats behind him.
