Aroldis Chapman facing potential Spring Training ban

MLB could decide to suspend Aroldis Chapman from participating in Spring Training as a result of his domestic violence allegations. Players that are facing suspension for performance-enhancing drug use are allowed to participate in Spring Training, but the league has a new policy in place for domestic violence which would allow the commissioner to also ban players from preseason action. The Yankees knew that there would be a potential ban for Chapman when they acquired him. While it's possible he could be suspended for Spring Training, it doesn't appear that it's likely or unlikely at this point. The news is that it's potential, but MLB is still considering its options.
