Jordan Zimmerman allowed four runs on five hits in 3 2/3 innings against Philadelphia on Thursday. He had one walk and three strikeouts in the outing.
Fantasy Impact:
Zimmerman gave up a pair of homers on Thursday, as he is still working out the kinks before the games start to count. Zimmerman had a down season in 2015, with his highest ERA and WHIP since 2010 (3.66/1.20 in '15), and a dropoff in Ks from the previous season (182 to 164). A move to a pitcher's park will help, but the bats are much better in the AL Central compared to the NL East, so that upgrade will be mitigated. Zimmerman is being drafted 30th among SP (110th overall ADP), which is right where he should be.
