Denard Span returns to action

After exiting a game due to a shoulder injury earlier this week, Denard Span has returned to action for the Giants. He was diagnosed with a bone bruise in his shoulder, but he's still expected to be ready for the start of the regular season. (Andrew Baggarly on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Span gave the Giants and fantasy owners a brief scare, but it looks like the shoulder injury won't be a lingering issue. If he's able to remain healthy, the veteran has an opportunity to be fantasy relevant batting atop the Giants' lineup in 2016.
