Drew Stubbs given his release

Outfielder Drew Stubbs has exercised the out clause in his contract and has been given his release by the team. (www.mlb.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Stubbs enjoyed a solid spring, hitting .300 with two home runs, 10 RBI and three steals. He did, however, strike out 14 times in 40 at-bats, and the Rangers feel that Ryan Rua and Justin Ruggiano can give them the depth they need in the outfield.
