Prince Fielder delivers in season opener

Prince Fielder had the only hit of the day for the Rangers in their opener on Monday, but provided some of the only offense needed to get the victory over the Mariners. Fielder went 1-for-4 with an RBI single and two strikeouts.
Fantasy Impact:
Fielder has proven over the last few years that he is more than just a power hitter. His power numbers have taken a hit, but his batting average has risen which makes him an interesting fantasy player. On Opening d Day, Prince showed his ability to just slap a ball for a hit. His HR will come, but a nice start to the season for Fielder despite the two strikeouts against Felix Hernandez.
