Evan Longoria goes 2-for-4, scores twice in Rays victory

by Mike Werner | Wed, Apr 6th 6:00pm EDT

Evan Longoria went 2-for-4 with two runs scored in the Rays' 5-3 win over the Blue Jays on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Coming into the game, Longoria had notched seven hits in 18 at-bats (.389) against J.A. Happ and continued his success by hitting a single in the fourth inning. He would later score on a Tim Beckham RBI single and again when Steven Souza put the Rays ahead for good with a 3-run homer in the eighth. Longoria has started the season 5-for-17 (.294) with two extra-base hits, and should continue to produce at a top-10 level at his position this year.
