Andrew McCutchen gets on base three times in a losing effort

by Chris Zolli | Pirates Correspondent | Sun, Apr 10th 5:11pm EDT

Andrew McCutchen finished 1-for-3 with two walks against the Reds on Sunday, a 2-1 loss for the Pirates. McCutchen has a .464 OBP this young season.

Fantasy Impact:

There is no reason to worry about McCutchen, even if his double against the Reds was only the second extra base hit in 22 at-bats this season. He has focused on plate discipline in the early season, five walks and two strikeouts, an approach that should lead to more production as the season goes on. The Pirates' star is a certain 20/20 hitter and should have an OPS around .900.
