Two-run home run for Yoenis Cespedesis the only offense for the Mets

by Chris Zolli | Sun, Apr 10th 6:27pm EDT

Yoenis Cespedes finished 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in the Mets' 5-2 loss against the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday afternoon. This is the first home run of the season for Cespedes, who has a .200 batting average.

Fantasy Impact:

The Mets have only scored more than three runs once in their five games this season and Cespedes only posting one extra-base hit is a big reason why their offense has struggled. Cespedes does have hits in three of his five games this season, but only has a .623 OPS and the RBI today were his first of the season as well. The Mets and fantasy owners should be scared that Cespedes is a streaky hitter, but the upside of that streaky nature needs to be appreciated as well.
