Pedro Alvarez picks up first 2016 hit

Slugger Pedro Alvarez picked up his first hit of the season on Sunday. He finished the day 1-for-3 with a run scored.
Fantasy Impact:
The good news is the strikeout-prone slugger has only struck out four times in his first five games. He's shown he can hit home runs in bunches in the past and hopefully he can go on a tear now that he has that first hit out of the way. If he's on your roster hold onto him for now, he should be in store for a big year.
