James Shields goes seven innings, gets loss against Rockies

by Bret Skinner | Sun, Apr 10th 9:13pm EDT

James Shields was solid for the most part on Sunday afternoon, but a few bad pitches led to three solo home runs against the right hander. Shields gave up four runs (all earned), on six hits and walked two in the loss. He added two strikeouts in his 93 pitches of work.

Fantasy Impact:

It's hard to get that quality start in Coors Field, but if it hadn't been for a 7th inning home run from Ryan Raburn, Shields would have gotten one. If Shields can limit the home runs against him, he'll have a much easier time this year. Until then, proceed with caution in daily fantasy.
