Pablo Sandoval may need shoulder surgery

Pablo Sandoval (shoulder) said the results of his first MRI were "pretty bad," and he is on tap for a second opinion from Dr. James Andrews in the near future, WEEI.com's Rob Bradford reports. (Rob Bradford on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The news that Sandoval is having shoulder issues which may or may not require surgery is good news for Travis Shaw owners. Shaw should be a lock for playing time at third base with Sandoval dealing with both weight issues and shoulder issues. Pick up Shaw if he is available in your fantasy league and if you are holding onto Sandoval he needs to be dropped.
