Chase Headley finished 0-for-3 in a Yankees' 3-2 win over the Rays on Saturday, adding a walk in the matinee. Headley has a .159 batting average this season.
Fantasy Impact:
Headley has sit the ball with a bit more authority over the last few games, but no extra-base hits, two runs, two RBI, and his .159 batting average are far from what fantasy owners are looking for. Other than a strong 2012 season, Headley has not shown very much fantasy relevance. There are two reasons for hope with Headley, as small as they may be, as he has stolen three bases and has walked nine times this season. If he is able to get on base, good things can happen and Headley could because fantasy relevant.
