Carlos Marmol has had a rough season, to say the least.
Entering the year as the Chicago Cubs’ closer, Marmol has since been demoted to
working earlier in games after early struggles. Despite his erratic
performance, general manager Jed Hoyer told Paul Sullivan of The Chicago
Tribune that he has no plans of releasing Marmol.
