In what is becoming a familiar scene, Coco Crisp was missing from the A's lineup on Saturday. Oakland has been without its regular leadoff hitter for much of the last two weeks, but manager Bob Melvin is hopeful Crisp is nearing everyday action again.
Currently, Crisp is dealing with some left wrist inflammation, which will sideline him until at least Friday. The season may only be a little over a week old, but Crisp being nicked up is a yearly tradition. - Matt Moczygemba
