Drew Stubbs has been hitting well so far this spring and it continued on Wednesday against the San Diego Padres. Stubbs went 2-3 with a home run, 2 RBI, and 2 R. His home run came off of standout Padres starter Tyson Ross.
Fantasy Impact: Stubbs is now hitting .333 in the spring with a pair of homers and four RBI. Stubbs does not offer very much upside in the fantasy world but he can offer some mid-range power and a healthy amount of stolen bases. He could be a sneaky sleeper pick in the last couple of rounds this season now that he gets another year of playing at Coors Field.

Drew Stubbs played center field and went deep in Thursday's loss to the Milwaukee Brewers. For the game he went 1-2.
Fantasy Impact: Stubbs was a pleasant surprise last season when the Rockies acquired him. He is expected to stay as the starting center fielder and is batting .364 so far in spring. From a fantasy perspective he is a waiver-wire guy but he can provide some value whenever he gets on one of his hot streaks.

Colorado & Drew Stubbs agreed to a one year, $5.825 million contract. (Source: FOX Sports)
Fantasy Impact: Stubbs is currently fourth on the Colorado depth chart, but an injury to Carlos Gonzalez or any of the other outfielders will thrust Stubbs into mixed league relevance. He went .289/.339/.482 last season while being one of only eight outfielders to go 15 & 15 on home runs & stolen bases.
