Indians leadoff hitter Drew Stubbs picked up two base hits on Wednesday during a 10-4 win at Philadelphia. Stubbs scored twice in the game.
Stubbs doubled and finished 2 for 5 with two runs scored to improve his average to .260. The 28-year-old has hit in four straight games and is finally beginning to pick up his average.

“Stubbs was a huge disappointment last season only knocking out 14 HRs while hitting .213. While those numbers were down, his 30 SB reminded us that he is still one of the few 20 HR/30 SB players left in this game. Stubbs will likely be snagged late, a chance of scenery may do wonders for his game. Especially on a rebuilding for today Indian's team.”
