Ian Kinsler has announced he is retiring from baseball.

Kinsler is still owed $4.25 million in 2020 but he is going to work out a settlement with the Padres and remain with the team in a front office role. The 37-year-old hit just .217 with a .646 OPS last year. He finishes his career with 1,999 hits.
