Fantasy Impact: Segura could be a key catalyst to a successful Brewers season as well as to your fantasy team. All indications are that he will return to his All-Star caliber of play from 2013. He could be a late round sleeper if you decide to wait on a shortstop and is capable of producing numbers at batting average, runs and steals as well as some surprising power.

Segura endured heartbreak in 2014 with the death of his young son in July. Between that tragedy and an assortment of injuries, Segura batted .246, with a .289 on-base percentage and only 25 extra-base hits in 513 at-bats. The year before, when Segura made the National League All-Star team, he batted .294 with a .329 OBP and 42 extra-base hits. (Source: MLB.com)

Fantasy Impact: Segura will be highly motivated to regain his All-Star form in 2015. He could be a sleeper candidate at a thin shortstop position in deeper mixed and NL-only leagues.
