Kendrys Morales continued his strong start to the season by driving in two more runs against the Reds during the Royals 7-1 victory. He now leads the team with 32 RBI.

Fantasy Impact: Morales continues to be a nice surprise for fantasy owners. He has added value since he is a switch hitter, who does not have to miss starts due to pitching match ups. He should be considered a starter in most leagues.

Kendrys Morales launched a three run homer in the top of the seventh to put a cap on a six run inning for the Royals. Morales ended up going 3-for-5 with three rbi in the 11-5 victory. He is now hitting .321 for the year.

Fantasy Impact: Morales has been a great surprise for fantasy owners and is becoming a starter in many leagues. If you are in need of an under the radar bat, pick him up before someone else does.

Royals' DH Kendrys Morales is hitting 0.325 after cracking his third home run in the Cactus League campaign.

Fantasy Impact: Off-season acquisition Kendrys Morales looks like an upgrade in the power department over Billy Butler. He should offer 20+ HR potential with a decent AVG yet available in the later rounds.

According to MLB.com sources, the Kansas City Royals have signed Kendrys Morales to a two-year deal worth $17 million. (Source: MLB.com)

Fantasy Impact: Morales will replace Billy Butler as the Royals DH. The 31-year-old struggled in 2014, hitting .218 with 8 HR and 42 RBI. The Royals are hoping his struggles last year were caused by him missing spring training and that he will return to his 2009-2013 form.
