Rudy Gay scores 21 in loss to Mavericks

Rudy Gay led the second-unit with 21 points on 8-for-11 shooting, including making both of this three-pointers in Tuesday night's 95-89 loss to the Mavericks. Gay added five rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal to his impressive stat line over 27 minutes of action. He's now gone six straight in double-digit scoring and has grabbed at least five rebounds in eight straight.
Fantasy Impact:
One player that won't really be impacted by Kawhi Leonard's return is Gay. He continues to be the first man off the bench and produced an impressive stat line Tuesday night. Gay is a near lock right now averaging 16 points and seven rebounds in the month of December. He remains fantasy relevant even in his sixth man role and can be trusted in lineups as a player with a solid floor.
