Jazz and Alec Burks agree to 4 year extension

SG Alec Burks and the Utah Jazz have agreed to a 4 year extension for a reported total of $42 million. Friday was the final day for players from the 2011 draft class to get extensions. The Jazz now have invested big money in PF Derrick Favors, SF Gordon Hayward and Burks as the team hopes the 3 will lead to a promising future in Utah. (ESPN)

Burks has averaged 16.5 points a game so far this year as he looks to be one of the center pieces in Coach Quin Snyder's offense. As a late round choice in most leagues, Burks has rewarded the faithful with 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 threes and 1.5 steals per game so far to go along with his points. Burks should be owned in all leagues.
