Wesley Matthews suffers torn left Achilles tendon

Updating the previous report that Matthews left the game with a left foot injury, it looks as if the Blazers worst nightmares has come true and Matthews will miss the remainder of the season due to a torn left Achilles tendon. This is a huge blow to the surging Blazers. (ESPN)

This could not have come at a worst time for fantasy owners who are most likely a midst their fantasy playoffs, depending on when your league starts them. Arron Afflalo will fill right into the starting role for the Blazers.
