According to reporter Jason Lieser of the Palm Beach Post, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra has said that there is a "slim chance" that Chris Andersen will play on Friday night in Atlanta. (Jason Lieser on Twitter)

The plot thickens. Considering that there are conflicting reports between Spoelstra and Andersen on Andersen's status, it is imperative to keep a close eye on the situation. If Birdman is out, Udonis Haslem will be the only big available for Miami and will play a ton of minutes. This would make Haslem a more viable play in daily leagues.
