Tyreke Evans successfully underwent arthroscopic knee surgery for his right knee Wednesday evening. His timetable will be released in the near future. (NBA.com)
Fantasy Impact:
A four to six week timetable is the norm for arthroscopic knee surgery so he should be ready for the start of training camp next season. The jack-of-all-trades swingman averaged 16.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 6.6 assists on 44.7 percent shooting. In the nearly three-month period Jrue Holiday missed due to injury this season, Evans averaged 7.7 assists. Much of Evans' fantasy value comes from his assists, and Pelicans relied even more on Evans' ball distribution without Holiday around. A healthy Jrue Holiday next season means that Tyreke Evans' fantasy value takes a hit.
