Corey Brewer re-signs with Houston
by Dale Redman | Fri, Jul 3rd 6:26pm EDT
Free agent small forward Corey Brewer became the latest player to turn down the Kings as he rejected a more generous offer from Sacramento to re-sign with the Rockets. Brewer's deal with Houston is reportedly for three years and close to $23M. (Marc Stein on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
After being traded to Houston, Brewer's number took a bit of a dip. He posted 11.9 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.0 three-pointers in 56 games with the Rockets. If Houston lets Josh Smith walk in free agency, expect Brewer's numbers to climb up a bit as he should have more minutes available.
