Chris Bosh has been waived by the Heat

Chris Bosh has been waived by the Heat on Tuesday after missing most of the last two seasons with a blood clot. Health is the No. 1 priority for Bosh and at this point, it seems unlikely to return to the NBA. If he does, could he join the Cavaliers?

Fantasy Impact

Bosh is a two-time NBA Champion with the Miami Heat while making the NBA Finals four straight years. Bosh will go down as one of the best stretch four's and an 11-time All-Star selection.

Chris Bosh is still considering a return to the NBA next season

Chris Bosh is still considering a return to the court next season if he can get medically cleared by doctors. The NBA and players' union determined that the Miami Heat can remove Bosh's salary from the books after a panel of doctors ruled that he’s medically unfit to play. Unfortunately, it seems more likely than not that Bosh has already played his last game in the NBA.

Fantasy Impact

Rumor reports if Bosh can play that he will likely look to sign with a contender most notably the Chicago Bulls and fellow friend Dwayne Wade. It seems unlikely he could play but Bosh would be an excellent addition to that team. In fantasy, Bosh should go undrafted in re-draft leagues.

Chris Bosh is still hoping to return to the NBA

Chris Bosh is still holding hope that he will be able to return to the NBA at some point, likely next season. Bosh hasn't played since February 9th of 2016 and it remains to be seen if he can play ever again. Rumor mill has Bosh as a possible stretch four for the Bulls next season.

Fantasy Impact

Bosh should be left on the waiver wire but like this past season, fantasy owners may take a late-round flier on him. A move to Chicago would limit his scoring potential if he was able to play but it would be a huge get for the Bulls.

Chris Bosh on the Bulls radar if he can play next season

This is not surprising as Dwayne Wade has to be making his case for Bosh to join the Bulls. If Bosh can play in 2017, the Bulls are prepared to make a run at signing him. Bosh hasn't played at all this season and is unlikely while still recovering from blood clots.

Fantasy Impact

Bosh shouldn't still be on any fantasy rosters for this season but keep an eye out for him heading into next season especially if he signs on with the Bulls. If he goes to Chicago, Taj Gibson stands to lose the most value.

Chris Bosh (blood clots) likely to attempt an NBA comeback next season

Chris Bosh will likely make an attempt at an NBA comeback in the 2017-2018 season rather than this season. The Heat want to make sure Bosh's salary is off the books so the Heat will likely waive him before the February 9th deadline and to guarantee he won't be able to play more than 25 games this year. He will be a free agent this summer and will look to sign on with a contender possibly the Cavaliers or Bulls.

Fantasy Impact

Bosh can be dropped in all leagues this for this season. It's a tough day for fantasy owners who drafted him with the hopes he would make an impact this season.
