DeAndre Jordan stellar in spot start Monday

DeAndre Jordan scored 21 points (8-11 FG, 5-11 FT) to go with 13 rebounds and five assists in Denver's 113-104 win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday.

Fantasy Impact

The Nuggets were without star center Nikola Jokic on Monday night thanks to a lower-back injury that he's dealing with, but Jordan played a great game in his place. He scored a season-high 21 points on the day and led the team in rebounds with 13, and he did it all with good efficiency and while contributing well on the defensive side of the ball. He will revert back to a smaller role in the near future, but a performance like this could be enough for him to carve out a real role for himself in this rotation moving forward.

DeAndre Jordan re-signs with the Nuggets

DeAndre Jordan has reached an agreement to return to the Denver Nuggets.

Fantasy Impact

Jordan played a limited role last season, but saw some minutes behind Nikola Jokic. He should remain in a similar role with Denver next year.

DeAndre Jordan logs a double-double in start Thursday

DeAndre Jordan finished with 12 points (6-6 FG, 0-0 3P, 0-0 FT), 11 rebounds, and one assist during Thursday’s 119-115 loss to the Suns.

Fantasy Impact

Jordan seems to like playing the Suns. Before Thursday’s double-double, the veteran had five points, 12 rebounds, a block, and three steals in just 21 minutes against them. The Nuggets have back-to-back games on Saturday and Sunday to round out the regular season, so Jordan will likely get the starting nod in at least one of them. He’s no Jokic, but if he’s going to see starter minutes, he’s worth a look in DFS as an inexpensive, low-rostered option.

DeAndre Jordan grabs 10 rebounds Monday against Rockets

DeAndre Jordan grabbed 10 rebounds while also dishing out one assist and scoring eight points (4-5 FG) in the Nuggets' 129-113 win over the Rockets.

Fantasy Impact

Jordan has posted solid rebounding output while failing to reach double figures in each of his last five games, averaging 9.2 rebounds per game in that span. The veteran center's best days are behind him and should not be considered a viable fantasy option at this point.
