Williams will be leaned on in the NBA Finals as a scoring option off the bench and maybe even in a two-guard tandem with Kyrie Irving. At best, he's a cheap DFS punt play.

Williams got a spot start with Kyrie Irving resting but he hasn't been impressive since coming over from Dallas. The Cavaliers will need him and will likely go with some two-point guard sets in the playoffs so Kyrie can play off the ball more. Williams isn't much of a fantasy asset.

Deron Williams had his best game as a Cavalier on Wednesday against the Nuggets. Williams scored 19 points on an impressive 8-of-10 shooting. Williams added four boards, two assists, two three-pointers and one block.

Fantasy Impact

Williams is only averaging 7.5 points per game since joining the Cavaliers making him not a player that needs to be owned. Leave him on the wire.
