Eric Moreland

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, free agent center Eric Moreland has agreed to join the Oklahoma City Thunder on a training camp deal.

Fantasy Impact

After going undrafted in the 2014 NBA Draft, Moreland was signed by the Sacramento Kings. Over the past few years Moreland has bounced around the league, but notably won the 2019 NBA Championship as a member of the Toronto Raptors. However, Moreland has never received significant playing time at the NBA level. Even if Moreland signs with another NBA team, it’s difficult to envision him offering any sort of meaningful fantasy value.

Eric Moreland has re-signed with the Raptors on Tuesday making him eligible for the postseason as he played on a 10-day in March.

Moreland is purely depth behind Marc Gasol, Pascal Siakam, and Serge Ibaka and is off the DFS radar.

Erik Moreland filled up his stat sheet Wednesday with 16 points, 17 rebounds, four assists, four steals, and four blocks in 40 minutes of play.

Moreland played great in the stead of All-Star Andre Drummond, who was held out for the finale. He has been effective when called upon, but will not be worth drafting in fantasy leagues next season unless Andre Drummond is injured.

Eric Mooreland scored 11 points and grabbed seven rebound Monday as Detroit fell to Toronto. He rounded out his night with one assist, one block, and two steals in 32 minutes of play.

Fantasy Impact

Mooreland got the start while Andre Drummond sat out with an Achilles injury. If Drummond misses the season finale Wednesday Mooreland would likely start again and be a solid DFS value play.
