Grevis Vasquez has expressed interest in signing with the Washington Wizards. However, we haven't heard anything to say the Wizards are interested after Vasquez played only three games last season after suffering a season-ending ankle injury.

For Vasquez, he did pick a team in dire need of a backup point guard as Brandon Jennings failed. If the team doesn't draft one or sign a free agent better than Vasquez, maybe the team will give him a shot. Either way, the backup in Washington isn't worth a look in fantasy.
Greivis Vasquez will be released by the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday. Vasquez will undergo ankle surgery, which makes his chances of playing this season very slim. The Nets will sign guard Yogi Ferrell to replace Vasquez.

Vasquez did not have much value before being released, as he has been injured for a majority of the season. Ferrell will play some minutes for now with Lin out, but Kilpatrick and Whitehead are going to lead the guard positions in Brooklyn.
