Jason Richardson joins Hawks

Free agent guard Jason Richardson will sign a non-guaranteed deal with Atlanta on Monday. The 13-year veteran played in 19 games for the 76ers last season.

Fantasy Impact

Richardson has been riddled with injuries the last few years and is not a lock to make the Hawks roster. Even if he did, the veteran would be buried at the back end of the depth chart. Not worth your time in fantasy at the moment.

Jason Richardson has another stellar performance

Jason Richardson has played well the past couple of games after struggling much of the season. He scored 19 points on 7-of-13 from the floor, including 4-of-8 from three-point range on Saturday versus the Bulls.

Fantasy Impact

Richardson is shooting just 33 percent on the season, but 13-of-20 from the floor over the past two games. Heading into the final couple games of the season, Richardson looks to end on a positive note. Whether or not he returns to the 76ers in 2015-2016 for his 14th season remains to be seen.

Jason Richardson shoots well versus Wizards

The Philadelphia 76ers fell to the Washington Wizards on Wednesday, 119-90. Despite the blowout loss, there were a few good shooting performances. One was from Jason Richardson, who hit on 6-of-7 from the floor, including 4-of-5 from three-point range. He finished with 17 points in 21 minutes of action.

Fantasy Impact

Richardson has struggled from the floor, shooting just 31 percent in 17 games played. The 13-year veteran is averaging eight points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.

Jason Richardson shot poorly once again for Philadelphia

Richardson reentered the starting lineup after missing the last game at Sacramento, but he also returned to his old ways as he went 3-13 from the field, 1-6 from three-point range, and 1-2 at the free throw line for eight points. He rounded off his night with four rebounds, three assists, one block, and one turnover.

Fantasy Impact

If Richardson has done anything, it is consistently display his ability to shoot below 30 percent from the field, so it is fair to wonder why Coach Brett Brown continues to start him. Robert Covington is beginning to play well again so Richardson's days as a starter may be numbered.

Jason Richardson bounces back with strong outing versus Pistons

The Philadelphia 76ers got solid all-around play from several players in their 94-83 win over the Detroit Pistons. Jason Richardson bounced back from a four-game shooting slump to score 15 points on 4-of-7 from the floor, including 3-of-5 from 3-point range. Richardson is shooting just 26.5 percent from the floor this month and 16.7 percent from beyond the arc.

Fantasy Impact

Richardson, in his 13th NBA season, is averaging 9.3 points and 4 rebounds per game. He's clearly still shaking off the rust from missing two years due to injury. While Richardson should see plenty of playing time the rest of the season, he's unlikely to provide much value to fantasy owners.
