We know the Patriots will be a top-5 team in plays run, and you don't have to worry about Edelman being bogged down by a sputtering offense. He was the 16th-ranked receiver in PPR leagues last season while missing two games. I think you will have trouble not getting value from Edelman this season at his ADP, and even lower than his ADP.

- Chet Gresham, WalterFootball

Nothing fancy about this pick; nearly 1,000 yards so solid for PPR, but TDs will be around 5.

- James Hatfield, Hatty Waiver Wire Guru

Edelman is a PPR monster with 92 receptions, but posted only 972 yards and 4 receiving touchdowns. He is a WR3 in standard leagues and a WR2 in PPR leagues. Even if Brady serves his suspension this season, it should not significantly impact Edelman's fantasy value.

- Derek Lofland, Fantasy Football Maniax

Reception machine finished 17th WR overall in PPR scoring last season, but just 27th in standard settings. No lock to be healthy by the opener.
