How long will Jonathan Stewart’s latest injury keep him out?

Panthers GM Dave Gettleman said Jonathan Stewart will likely be out 1-2 weeks recovering from a hamstring injury. Steve Reed went on to say in subsequent tweets that Rivera said it wasn’t as serious as hamstrings can be and that he’ll participate in some walkthroughs. (Steve Reed on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Jonathan Stewart was recovering from offseason ankle surgery and like many injury recoveries, that has lead to an injury in a support area of the body. When healthy, Stewart is a quality RB3 or Flex and even a strong RB2 when getting the bulk of the carries. He is a veteran and knows the system, but a return for week 3 of the preseason would give fantasy owners a better idea of his health heading into the regular season.
