Colts announce open competition at RB

Bradshaw, coming off a season ending neck injury from last year, will enter training camp in a three way competition with Trent Richardson and Vick Ballard for the lead role in the Colts' backfield. (The Indianapolis Star)
Fantasy Impact:
The Colts appear to be moving away from their run first approach from last season to a "score first" system per offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton. That change will likely result in some sort of a running back by committee approach as the Colts have three solid candidates. Trent Richardson enters camp as the early favorite for the most touches even though he struggled to a 2.9 ypc average last season. It will be worth monitoring the first team reps as camp progresses to help bring some clarity to this situation.
