Drew Brees wants to play to age 45

by Mike Wright | Tue, Jul 29th 5:48pm EDT

Drew Brees has stated he would like to play in the NFL until he turns 45. This would put him in an elite longevity club, generally reserved for kickers. Brees (who turns 36 this season) has overcome tremendous obstacles in his career already, making this all the more plausible. (New Orleans Times-Picayune)

Fantasy Impact:

This is the kind of thing dynasty and keeper league owners like to hear. Knowing that Brees still has the passion and desire to play another 10 seasons is tremendously comforting. He remains a top 3 option at QB and looks like he may stay there longer than people would imagine. Brees is currently the 2nd QB being drafted with an ADP of 15.
