TE Davis reports to training as scheduled

Despite missing all of mini-camp, and threats of an extended hold out, Niners TE Vernon Davis reported to practice with the rest of his teammates as scheduled. Said Davis, "It was a very easy decision. All you have to do is think about the team†The star Tight End has 2 years remaining on his current contract. (Yahoo!)
Fantasy Impact:
Vernon Davis and Niners QB Colin Kaepernick had excellent chemistry last year, with Davis snagging 57 catches for 850 yards and 12 touchdowns, making him the second best fantasy TE of 2013. With the return of a healthy Michael Crabtree, the additions of Stevie Johnson, Brandon Lloyd, and Anquan Boldin, as well as rookie 4th Round pick Bruce Ellington, Colin Kaepernick should be expected to spread the ball around much more this year. While we expect Davis’ numbers to decrease quite a bit compared to 2013, you should still expect the big red zone target to perform as a top 5 TE in 2014.
