Steven Jackson injured his left hamstring during Monday's practice. Last season was a similar story when Jackson injured his right hamstring which resulted in Jackson missing several games (4). Head Coach Mike Smith believes that the injury to Jackson "isn't serious and that he should be ready to go Week 1". (rotoworld.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Jackson's injury will probably push the veteran running back down in many fantasy drafts while also daring teams to draft his associates: Jacquizz Rodgers and Devonta Freeman. If Jackson does take a fall in fantasy drafts he could be a steal, serving as a viable option week to week.
