Johnson not practicing yet, Texans in no rush

Andre Johnson continues to be sidelined with what appears to be a minor hamstring strain. However, the veteran seems optimistic about playing soon, possibly during the Texans first preseason game next Saturday. (Houston Chronicle)
Fantasy Impact:
With his holdout a distant memory, Johnson is excited to get back to football, and fantasy owners targeting the seven-time Pro Bowler should be as well. However, despite his optimism, it is clear that the coaching staff will make sure Johnson takes all the time he needs to fully recover. Therefore, his status during the preseason should be monitored to ensure he is ready for Week 1. In O'Brien's offense, Johnson is expected to be moved around a lot, and the resulting mismatches should bode well for his fantasy production.
