Ellington to get plenty of touches in space

by TD Monk | Tue, Aug 5th 10:30am EDT

The Cardinals plan to be judicious in running Ellington between the tackles given his 5'9", 199 lb frame. HC Arians says, "Andre could start on our team as wide receiver, so you want to be able to use that skill and still have another back in the game who can do everything else. It's fun creating things with a player like him." (azcentral)

Fantasy Impact:

In camp, the Cardinals often have used a two-back set, with Ellington and 5' 11" 235lb Robert Hughes, who is an excellent blocker, lined up together. "With Andre back there and another running back, how are they going to play that situation?" Arians said. "If they are going to play that in their base defense, then he's getting covered by a linebacker or a safety. That's a mismatch." Ellington has learned all 3 WR positions this summer and could be a PPR monster.
