Trent Richardson

Richardson much more comfortable in Colts offense

by Jason Mullins | Tue, Aug 5th 11:22am EDT

Richardson, during the post practice interview session on Monday, repeatedly mentioned his level of comfort in the Colts' scheme. He alluded to his ability to play more instinctually and make better in-game decisions based upon familiarity with the playbook and his teammates. (Jason Mullins)

Fantasy Impact:

Richardson was a standout back in college, setting the NCAA single season rushing record with 1,679 yards. He clearly has the talent to be a feature back moving forward, but will have to improve upon his 2.9 ypc average moving forward. Being able to react quickly in game scenarios and rely on that talent will be key in bouncing back from last year's dismal performance. Richardson will be an RB2 with RB1 upside on draft day.
