Shane Vereen gets limited time in preseason opener

Vereen carried the ball once for 7 yards against the Redskins and had no targets in the passing game.
Fantasy Impact:
While this performance was very limited and small, it's good to see Vereen out and involved. I expect him to be heavily involved in the passing game this year as he is by far the best pass-catching RB New England has to offer. 5-10 carries and 3-5 targets a game isn't out of the question for 2014. Target Vereen as a low end RB2 with the hopes of getting him as your RB3.
