Fantasy Impact:
We don't have much information about the severity of Gerhart's hip flexor injury, but we do know two things. First, the Jags have been very cautious when their players come down with soft tissues injuries. Secondly, we know the Jags want Gerhart to be their 'bell-cow' RB and want him to be 100% healthy when September 7th rolls around. Why risk Gerhart injuring his hip flexor any further by practicing/playing in the preseason? This is a situation to continue to monitor, but if Gerhart shows he's 100% by the end of August, his late-3rd round ADP could be excellent value for an RB who will be force-fed the football.
