Alfred Morris

Morris focused on improving route-running in Tuesday's practice

by Jonathan Ebanks | Tue, Aug 12th 6:48pm EDT

The RBs practiced making cuts when covered by a linebacker on Tuesday. RB Alfred Morris initially made his cut, but pushed off the linebacker to create separation. After a quick chat with RBs coach Randy Jordan, Morris showed some quick feet and got himself wide open from LB Keenan Robinson, resulting in an easy catch for the back. (Washington Post)

Fantasy Impact:

With Morris being one of the team's better pass-blocking backs and a huge emphasis being put on the development of his receiving skills, it brings into question how large of a role the designated third down back will play on offense for the Redskins. As I said before, prepare to see Morris record 20-25 receptions this season, which would be a career-high for him. Bump him up a bit in PPR leagues.
