T-Rich already on short leash

Mike Wells of ESPN.com discussed Richardson's slow start to the preseason. Both the coach and general manager understand that he has put in a lot of work to improve his game, but also realize they must run the ball better and start doing so soon. Maybe some motivation from Ryan Grigson will help light a fire under Richardson. "Trent, he needs to answer the bell and do his job to the best of his ability," Colts general manager Ryan Grigson said. "We're all accountable here." (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
Richardson has averaged just 2.4 yards per carry, even lower than his season average last year (2.9). He has performed just like the running back that disappointed both Colts fans and fantasy owners a season ago. At this point it's best to draft him as bye week replacement and even consider taking a late round flier on Ahmad Bradshaw.
