Marshawn Lynch

Beast Mode to make his preseason debut Friday

by Michael White | Fri, Aug 22nd 3:16am EDT

When asked about Marshawn Lynch during Thursday's preseason press conference, Pete Carroll indicated that “It’s time for him to get some carries and get involved a little bit." (Curtis Crabtree)

Fantasy Impact:

After holding out for the first 8 days of training camp, Lynch is ready to debut in Friday's preseason tilt against the Bears. Carroll also noted that he "really could not be more pleased with the conditioning level that he’s (Lynch) had, the consistency of practice and his preparation has been great." Unlike previous holdouts from Chris Johnson and MJD, Lynch did not miss any important game work and seems poised to be firing on all cylinders when the Seahawks open the NFL season in two weeks. Beast Mode is currently being drafted near the end of the 1st round and provides tremendous value in that area. Owners should draft Lynch with no reservations and expect the same consistency that he's provided since he arrived in Seattle.
