Smith, the 34th overall pick in last year's draft, appears to be on track to return for OTAs after missing his entire rookie season with a knee injury suffered while still playing for Notre Dame. Although he is still dealing with nerve damage in his surgically repaired knee, the standout linebacker is expected to make his pro debut this season, barring a setback.
