Cam Newton expects to start week 1

Newton fractured his ribs last Friday against the Patriots. The Panthers' QB says "there's no doubt" that he'll be able to start week 1 and that he hasn't suffered any setbacks. He went on to say that he is already feeling better as of Wednesday. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
There wasn't much risk that Newton would miss the Week 1 opener. The bigger concern is whether this will be an injury that lingers throughout the season. For a QB who has value tied to his rushing ability, it remains a legitimate concern as week 1 approaches.
