Smith was owed $8 million for 2014, so the deal is actually worth $76 million over 5 seasons, or an average of $15.2 million per year, with $45 million guaranteed. (Terez Paylor on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This seems to be a fair deal for both parties. Smith has improved under Andy Reid and seems more willing to make or attempt tough throws. He remains a low-end QB2 for fantasy purposes.
