Rodgers starts the season off slow

by Ryan Dorfman | Jets Correspondent | Fri, Sep 5th 10:46am EDT

Aaron Rodgers was a shell of himself on Thursday night, however it came at the hands of the Seattle Seahawks defense. Rodgers clearly went out of his way to avoid throwing the ball anywhere near Richard Sherman. Rodgers was 14-15 on passes thrown 10 yards or fewer downfield in the 1st half, but he went 0-3 on passes longer than 10 yards.

Fantasy Impact:

There shouldn't be concern about Aaron Rodgers, he had a bad game against a terrific team. However, there should be some worry about the offensive line situation in Green Bay. Bryan Bulaga suffered a knee sprain after missing all of last season with a torn ACL, J.C. Tretter is injured as well, it's not pretty. If Green Bay can't protect Rodgers, he won't be very productive. Here's to hoping Green Bay makes an adjustment for next week against the Jets.
