According to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, Andre Ellington is hopeful that there is still a chance he can play on Monday night. (NFL.com)

It appears Ellington has a soft tissue injury to his left foot. The good news is that it does not appear Ellington will require surgery and it's positive hearing from Ellington that he is hopeful to play. The bad news is that Ellington might be sidelined for a period of time. Owners of Ellington are in a wait-and-see approach right now. As of now he is questionable for Monday night's game. Be prepared with another option at RB for week 1 just in case.
